Melissa and Brendan’s Wedding Day at Warren Farm, Formby

Last month I had the privilege of photographing Melissa and Brendan’s gorgeous, fun filled wedding. Everything about this wedding was amazing and I had such a fun day! I photographed the bridal party getting ready and stayed right up until the first dance. Watching Melissa and her bridesmaids try to get her enormous dress on was such a laugh because she got lost in the huge skirt, I think Melissa’s words were ‘Stop taking photos Rachel and help get this dress on!!’ hahaha! When we finally got it on she looked absolutely amazing, there were tears from mum! They had a lovely church ceremony with all of their family and friends and I managed to capture Brendan’s expression when he saw his wife to be for the first time that day. We then travelled to Warren Farm in Formby for their gorgeous reception. The reception room was decorated beautifully and they even had a massive table FULL of sweets – YUM! The bride and groom had hired a bouncy castle and an inflatable gladiator stadium which they went on of course haha! Rather than the usual wedding meal they opted for a hog roast which was unique and everyone loved it! The weather was gorgeous and we even acquired a horse for some of their couple photographs thanks to the kind people at Warren Farm! But the fun does not end there…they had also hired a rodeo bull!! Both the bride and groom went on – I don’t know how Melissa even got on it in that dress never mind stay on it for as long as she did! They even insisted that I get on the bull, but it’s safe to say I didn’t last very long on it haha! I had such an amazing day at this wedding, I felt so welcome as everyone was just lovely! Brendan and Melissa are such a lovely couple, I love a couple who can have a good laugh and the love that they have for each other and their kids is amazing 🙂 Here is just a small collection of photographs from their wedding day…
