2017 has been an amazing year for me, it was my first full year as a photographer and I photographed 13 weddings, 29 newborns, 20 cake smashes and lots of family  and Christmas sessions and Christenings!

The Studio

2017 was the year that I acquired my first studio on Seaforth Road, Liverpool where all of my sessions take place. I took a risk taking on the studio as I was not sure if I was ready to take the leap but I am so glad I did because it helped my little business grow even more! The studio needed a lot of work doing to it as the plaster on the walls was very old and peeling away, I had it all stripped right back and re done from scratch with a beautiful feature brick wall with all of my favourite photos framed in lots of different, quirky frames! I am going to continue working hard to get my studio 100% the way I want it so it can be an even better experience for my newborn, baby and family clients!

Investment

I’ve invested in lots of new gear, some of which I can’t wait to try out on my up coming 2018 weddings! I now own three cameras and seven lenses and loads of other stuff that ensures I get those gorgeous photos for you guys! (Maybe I need to stop buying gear now haha).

Meeting New People

This job is amazing and I absolutely love it, I really do have the best job in the world. I get to cuddle tiny, gorgeous newborn babies, share special first birthdays and also be an important part of the happiest day of people’s lives. Every single one of my clients have been a dream to work with this year and I have made some amazing friends a long the way! I’ve had the pleasure of travelling all over the north west of England to photograph some beautiful weddings at gorgeous venues such as Beeston Manor, Hard Day’s Night Hotel and I even got to go all the way up to Gretna Green in Scotland!!

Here’s to 2018 and hoping that my business grows even more and I can take is full time at some point!! Thank you to everyone who chooses me as their photographer, it really does mean the world to me!
